This course focuses on the importance of practitioners working on self-evaluation within their own early years settings. It considers how self-evaluation should become embedded in practice and how this is closely linked to the development and maintenance of quality, which is in turn related to the inspection process.
Having completed this course the learner will have developed a greater appreciation of the benefits of self-evaluation, why it can be an effective process and how they can use this within their own working environment.

Target Audience
Produced by the National Day Nursery Association (NDNA) this course is aimed at practitioners who are working in an early years setting.
However, the learning content is suitable for anyone interested in learning more about child care best practice including those working in playgroups, pre-school and child minders.
Duration
It is estimated that this module will take approximately 2-3 hours to complete (depending on learning speed). As an e-learning module you can complete this training in convenient stages and revisit whenever you wish. The system will record your progress throughout.Certification

As an e-learning course learners are able to work at their own pace, breaking off and resuming their study as appropriate, but it is expected that the e-learning material will take approximately 2-3 hours to complete.
